Apostolsk Kirke vender tilbage til Aarhus

Frikirken Haven Aarhus slutter sig til netværket af apostolske kirker i Danmark: ”Vi kommer for at lære.”

Efter en længere dialog mellem ledelsen i Apostolsk Kirke Danmark og Haven Aarhus har de to parter aftalt, at Haven Aarhus træder ind som medlem af Apostolsk Kirke. Det sker knap fem år efter opstarten af Haven Aarhus som uafhængig frikirke, og 10 år efter de to daværende apostolske menigheder i Aarhus lagde sig sammen med Pinsekirken Aarhus for at blive til Citykirken.

Johannes Hansen, der er præst i Apostolsk Kirke i Aalborg og har været en del af dialogen med Haven Aarhus, ser udvidelsen som en styrke.

– Vi glæder os selvfølgelig over, at der bliver en apostolsk kirke i Aarhus. Det er jo landets næststørste by, fortæller han, og understreger, at Apostolsk Kirke stadig har en god relation til Citykirken.

I Haven Aarhus er man glad for udvidelsen, fortæller formand for ledergruppen, Lisa Bækgaard.

– Som en forholdsvis ny og ung kirke kan vi drage meget gavn af netværket og det fællesskab, der er. Og så tror vi også, at vi kan tilbyde noget ind i den sammenhæng, så vi oplever det som en win-win.

Også Jesper Jeppesen, tidligere præst og stifter af Haven Aarhus, ser udvidelsen som en styrke. Han siger, at Haven går ind i samarbejdet med en indstilling om at komme for at lære, men fremhæver også ét område, som Haven Aarhus kan bidrage til.

– Det, vi ønsker at sætte på dagsordenen, er kirkeplantning.

Og det kan Johannes Hansen nikke genkendende til.

– Den missionale iver ved at plante og opbygge levende og voksende menigheder, som er det, vores vision centrerer sig omkring, rammer fuldstændig Havens DNA. Så jeg synes da, det er et fantastisk match.

Skovbo Efterskole får ny ledelse

Bestyrelsen for Skovbo Efterskole har ansat Karen Lykke Larsen som ny forstander fra det kommende skoleår. Ny viceforstander er Britt Korsgård. De afløser Jan Dufke og Helen Mikkelsen, der har ledt efterskolen gennem hhv. 24 og 8 år.

Både Lykke Larsen og Britt Korsgård er stærkt forankrede i Skovbos værdier og i skoleverdenen, og de brænder begge for, at unge skal lykkes. Sammen med skolens dygtige og engagerede personale vil de fortsætte det gode arbejde og udviklingen af Skovbo Efterskole.

Lykke kommer fra en skolelederstilling på Jakobskolen, en kristen friskole på Frederiksberg. Hun har mange kvaliteter og erfaringer fra sit erhvervs-, uddannelses- og fritidsliv, hvor engagementet altid er i hovedsædet.

– Min egen tid på Skovbo Efterskole var livsforvandlende, siger Lykke Larsen. – Begge vores ældste drenge har gået på Skovbo og en tredje nu her i 9. klasse. Det er med stor respekt og ydmyghed, jeg er på vej til Skovbo. Respekt for skolens værdigrundlag og vision, som jeg vil gøre mit bedste for fortsat udleves. Samtidig en stor ydmyghed overfor opgaven som forstander. Det er mit store håb, at Skovbo fortsat drives med passion, og at vi sammen gør en forskel for unge i Danmark. Må Skovbo efterskole blive ved med at være et sted, hvor tro og tvivl udforskes, og hvor der er plads til undren over fællesskabets mangfoldighed.

Britt har arbejdet på Skovbo Efterskole siden 2002. Hun har udviklet og stået for bl.a. skolens inklusionsarbejde, men har generelt en stor passion for unge, pædagogik og efterskole. De sidste 4,5 år har Britt siddet i Skovbo Efterskoles ledelsesteam som afdelingsleder for inklusion og pædagogik.

Nye akkrediteringer i det apostolske netværk

I løbet af det seneste år har Tjenesteteamet akkrediteret en lang række tjenester. Herunder kommer en kort oversigt over dem, der endnu ikke har været nævnt her.

Åbenkirke i København begyndte at holde gudstjenester i efteråret, og Christina og Thomas Christensen er begge akkrediteret som præster der. I forbindelse med coronanedlukningen af det danske samfund og dermed også kirkerne, var det Christina og Thomas, der tog de første initiativer til drive-in-gudstjenester i Danmark.

I løbet af det seneste år er der akkrediteret en række nye præsteaspiranter, hvilket går godt i tråd med, at flere præsteaspiranter er trådt ind i tjenesten som præster. Nogle af dem blev præsenteret ved #APKSummit i januar, mens andre akkrediteringer er helt nye. Uddannelsesforløbet i det apostolske netværk udvikles løbende for at klæde aspiranterne godt på til deres fremtidige tjeneste som præster.

Vi glæder os over alle de tjenester, der spirer frem og blomstrer rundt omkring i landet. Det er vigtigt at anerkende både eksisterende præster og tjenester og dem, der er på vej ind i tjeneste. Det er dette, vi gerne vil gøre med akkrediteringen af præster, femfoldige tjenester og præsteaspiranter i det apostolske netværk.

Forandringer i Holbæk

Holbæk Frikirke har i en periode haft tre præster, Simon Engmose som ledende præst og derudover Thomas Delvin og Jeppe Mejrup, men nu er der forandringer på vej. Jeppe Mejrup er blevet optaget på pastoralseminariet i København, og derfor stopper han som præst ved udgangen af juli.

Jeppe og Christina Bierregaard Mejrup flyttede til Holbæk for et år siden og har været glade for at være en del af Holbæk Frikirke. Optagelsen på pastoralseminariet ligger i forlængelse af Jeppes teologistudier.

– Jeg vil gerne understrege, at fratrædelsen fra min deltidsstilling ikke er et fravalg af Holbæk Frikirke, men et tilvalg af noget andet. På sigt vil det også åbne op for den mulighed, at jeg kunne blive præst i Folkekirken, hvilket jeg endnu ikke er helt afklaret om. Christina og jeg vil fortsat være en del af Holbæk Frikirke efter sommer, selvom min deltagelse bliver begrænset af, at jeg ikke længere officielt er præst, og af studiet på pastoralseminariet, siger Jeppe Mejrup.
